The Bible says that Jesus is the Messiah (Christ), the Son of God (Mark 1:1). The word “Messiah”, which is also translated Christ, refers to God’s anointed one who rules on God’s behalf.
Even if you haven’t read the Gospels (four biographies of Jesus’ life in the Bible), you probably have an opinion about Jesus based on culture or hear-say. Perhaps you think he’s a wise teacher, a prophet, or a good example. Christians believe these and far more!
Jesus himself said: “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me. If you really know me, you will know my Father as well. From now on, you do know him and have seen him.” John 14:6-7
Everybody’s invited to follow Jesus as the way to God, eternal life, abundant joy, and belonging in God’s family!
